Donald Trump called into Fox & Friends this morning and had some critical comments about the Benghazi hearings.
Trump was discussing Trey Gowdy, the chair of the Benghazi Special Committee, because of his reported endorsement of Marco Rubio this week. He retweeted some harsh attacks on Gowdy today.
When asked about Gowdy joining Rubio on Fox & Friends, Trump said, "I hope he does a better job than he did, frankly, in the Benghazi hearings, because they were a total disaster."

So what’s the end result of the Benghazi hearings? Haven’t heard much, but I guess I didn’t expect to. Impossible to nail a Democrat.
That’s a pretty stupid thing to say. Not sure WTF he is thinking. The disaster for our country is the Clinton crime family who are getting away with murder..literally.
He is correct. The hearings were mishandled from the beginning.

The result?
Everybody high fiving Hillary after her Testimony.
Gowdy got a few good licks in. You can see them on You Tube, not on any National News Reports.
Gowdy is endorsing Rubio?
He seems to be backing the wrong horse.
Gowdy was long on rhetoric and bluster without much success.
In another culture that level of disgrace could have only been erased by the act of seppuku.
There’s no conclusion to the investigation, just more stonewalling by Gowdy. Allow GOP to pretend to investigate to placate Conservatives while doing nothing to Hillary
Gowdy helped Hillary cover it up. It was so badly run the only explanation is Gowdy purposely scuttled the investigation.
Same as it always is for these piles of dung. Nothing.
The ENTIRE system is corrupt beyond repair. It needs to be burned to the ground and started from scratch..
The Benghazi hearing was a massive fail. It made Hillary look good. Gowdy failed..period!
As long as the Onambla Administration controls the Just-Us Dept, nothing was ever going to come of the Benghazi hearings, like the Fast & Furious, IRS, or any other investigation.
So it begets the question of: why bother to run the hearings, other than they felt compelled to.
We can only hope that once this cabal of criminality departs that maybe we will see some prosecutions of the major figures. Eric Holder for one, Lois Lerner, and probably 1000 others.

The Gowdy Committee uncovered the fact that Hillary was using a Private Server for her E-Mail. As a result she is being investigated by the FBI. OK, maybe nothing will come of that but you can’t put the blame for that on Gowdy. Trump will jump all over Hillary with jabs at her for running classified information through an unsecure system. Give me a break.
Trump is on First Base. He has taken a big lead thinking he can steal Second Base. He may just get picked off. It’s dangerous to be way off base. He’s way off base. Silly.
Surely this must be a different Trey Gowdy than the man that Trump mentioned as his pick for Attorney General on July 27.
The fact is that nothing will happen while Obama is in the white house. He has full control of the DOJ and enforcement.
Disappointing as the Gowdy endorsement is, nobody could have done more than he has done with Benghazi and most would have done less.
One of the main reasons I support Ted Cruz is the fact that I know he fully intends to put his justice department to work investigating and prosecuting the crimes of Benghazi to the fullest.
I don’t understand his Rubio endorsement. As I said to my wife, they are all crooked in some way.
