It doesn’t matter who gets voted in. They get absorbed and corrupted within a year or two now.

Good, he needs to be primaried, he’s just an establishment tool like Boehner. The problem is that the real conservatives forced the revolt but didn’t have anyone ready to step up and take the job so they ended up having to beg Ryan to hurry up and take the job with all his pre-conditions. Anybody could see he was just more of the same. Next time they have a coup, have a good replacement ready to go!

It seems to me that very few politicians get ahead who are not bought and paid for.I know some do but not near enough to make a difference.I keep thinking back to dennis hasstert. They knew the dirt on that sick bastard and yet he became speaker and while speaker did nothing to advance the conservative agenda.Things that make you go HMMM.

He’ll land in a gold plated lobbying job, so he doesn’t fear

Wow. I had no idea Lil Paula does not even have face time with his own constituency.

Am thinking that should have been (be) the first clue that he no longer represents the values of those who put him in office.

In that case, the fine folks of his area should demand a town meeting. Then would love to see about a thousand folks show up and turn their backs on him when he shows up at the podium while all the democrats in the audience cheer him on.

That's one possibility, very likely actually.

There's another one though. If the GOPe cabal really wants to stick it to us, they can just re-elect him Speaker without any seat since there is no requirement for House membership.

Of course, there's one more thing. We can just keep on moving to vacate the chair. AFAIK that rule was *not* changed despite Ryan asking for it as a prerequisite to taking the job.

That's the easiest way to get rid of the POS. They keep sending the RINOs up, we keep knocking them down. Next!

Most of us would have thought Ernst would have been sincere, but apparently she is a phony too. I don’t know for sure. We know WI Ron Johnson turned phony and is now a sure loser next November.

Well at least the awful Hastert, chosen by colleagues for his “affability”, had a rule that he wouldn’t get a majority of the votes to pass bills from the “opposition” Democrats.

So Cicero would be McC’s speechwriter if he were still around? Cato would be backing insurgents.

Aren’t Walker and Ryan intraparty allied?

There are traditionally masculine and feminine principles, which can be held by either sex to varying degrees (depending on the individual personality). Feminine principles can influence a culture regardless of the sex of its leaders.

Feminine principles have been growing in this nation since the counterculture. Egalitarianism, softness on crime and capitulation to enemies are all feminine traits. Glorifying single parent families as a celebration of feminism is another destructive part of feminization (both men and women are at fault for this).

A good example is the Scandinavian model; they are about ready to be destroyed by their immigrants from a masculine culture, yet they keep self-blaming and trying to appease them, like an abused woman. Not a healthy philosophy at all.
