GOP candidates slam Trump over Putin praise (Trump really scaring me-OK with killing journalists?)
Fox News ^ | Dec. 18, 2015 | Barnini Chakraborty

Posted on 12/18/2015 3:44:24 PM PST by mtrott

What started as a seemingly mild admiration between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin took an uncomfortable turn Friday when the GOP White House hopeful seemed to defend the Russian president’s strong-arm tactics – and dismiss his alleged killing of journalists and others who cross him.

Do either one of you have proof that Putin had people murdered? The fact that a mainstream media anchor may have told you something on TV, doesn't make it so. Point me to the proof, not to an accusation reported, robot-like, by AP or NBC.

I do not have any personal proof of Putin being involved in the killing of anyone except for the current batch of Islamic terrorists in Syria for which I say "jolly good show".

As for "proof", I direct you to poster ETL's #111, and if that doesn't convince you, ETL will fill up the rest of this thread with enough copied-and-pasted data, graphics and vitriol to make any Nigerian spammer envious.

That deserves to be repeated again and again.

While we're at it, anybody have any proof that Hastings and Breitbart were murdered by Obama?

Google is your friend. PLENTY of material out there dealing with the suspicious circumstances of the deaths of both Brietbart and Hastings.

The average Russian hates America and Americans, I've been there and seen it.

It seems the average Trump supporter hates Obama more than the Russian Putin who reflects his country's values and wishes to see this country go down.

It the strength of our American system that one can have such burning hatred for a elected leader that they can prefer a foreign enemy sworn to our destruction and still survive.

I can guarantee you that in Putin's Russia your hatred of him will be very short lived as will you...

but do you really not have any qualms about a President who seems so indifferent about a government killing journalists?

If you watched the whole segment you heard Trump say that he was NOT indifferent to the killing of journalists. He said the opposite. Please watch again.

Trump was derisively sloughing off the baloney “gotcha” comments by Joe. Joe: haha! The world leader who said nice things about you is a BAD MAN! Trump: go jump in the lake you jerk.

Putin is an ex-KGB thug. Is this who you want to defend?

Not a huge fan of spam, either . . . but if it pisses-off our Russian trolls (not speaking of you, specifically), keep it coming. A Russian troll has less place on FR than spam.

The Putin apologists? They're just fun to needle-around.

It’s actually worse than that.

The ‘elite’ schools now teach there’s no such thing as ‘Truth’ - there’s only political spin.

There’s no attempt to even report facts. Look at the end of the year ‘oops we lied for months and caused riots’ WaPo “hands up don’t shoot” nonsense.

I’m not in favor of killing the press.

I am in favor of taking away their power.

Trump is the real deal, a guy who expresses what right now a majority of people---not just Republicans---think.

I know what anecdotes are worth but there are people I know coming out of the woodwork in waves to agree that they are voting for Trump. His support is way underestimated. It looks like it's going to be a giant wave of FU.

“Trump says many troubling things and also has repeatedly shown his is not Conservative.”

Don’t care. I want an American nationalist first. Conservatives lately seem more loyal to the new world order than to me. So what do I do? I give em the finger and vote Trump as soon as I can.

Conservatism since Bush has been NWO and international banking loyalty. Democrats offer international socialism.
Only Trump seems to care about Americans first and the border.
Trump has all the right enemies. The GOP and the Dems. That makes him conservative via field promotion in my book. I like a mustang officer.

The REAL issue is: Why are we ‘at work’ with Putin?

That’s a Christian, white, educated nation filled with hot babes.

Why are we fighting on the side of ISIS-allied Turkey and against a Christian nation?

That’s the big issue.

Oh geez, I hate it when people on our side get all shakey. Last thing Trump is is a war monger and a senseless killer.

You should be worried about Obama and Valerie Jarrett, the fact you worry about Trump is ridiculous. Obama and his Islamic bros will get ya before Trump ever would. LOL

Oh I know where you're coming from. And I am far from being any sort of apologist for Putin, he may have been baptized in the Russian Orthodox Church secretly when he was a young'un, but that doesn't mean that the KGB officer in him has gone off to take a bear nap somewhere. He isn't someone to be trifled with, not by a long shot.

But when he's in the right, and not in conflict with our national interests, I'll be the first to say "GO VLAD GO!", as he is doing in Syria, and the way he's dealing with those backstabbing, ISIS-fellating Turks.

I think you must be missing my point. There are plenty of suspicious circumstances in the deaths of Russian journalists. And my point, precisely, is why should I give Putin a pass when I'm asked to give Obama strict scrutiny?

Russia isn’t the US. Nothing to be done about it. We need to have a relationship with Russia and attempt to co-exist. Whoever is President will need to deal with Putin. It might as well be a respectful relationship.

“we kill a lot of people too”. He’s not talking about terrorists. Do the names Andrew Breitbart and Michael Hastings ring a bell?

On the new FR? Absolutely nothing. Let Obama do it. Putin does.

This is something I was sure I'd never see. Much of history becomes appallingly clearer with each passing day.

Today's killing journalists is no big deal. I'm afraid to ask what will be acceptable tomorrow.

“Putin is an ex-KGB thug”

Didn’t stop Reagan from making deals with Gorby:
“Gorbachev and KGB: Alliance That Pays Off”
August 14, 1987|ROBERT C. TOTH | /Los Angeles Times Staff Writer

WASHINGTON — The KGB, the Soviet Union’s secret police, is enjoying greater support from Soviet leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev than any other Soviet institution, according to U.S. and foreign analysts of Soviet affairs. In turn, they say, he seems particularly dependent on the agency and may be in the process of increasing its power.

Was it Trumps job to defend Obama too?

Not that I have no sympathy for you guys, lies is all you have to work with, and that is a tough position to work from.

Still disgusts me when you are so blatant about it though.

Scarborough twice challenged Trump over the fact that Putin kills journalists and opponents.

Given the lying, liberal lamestream media is so deeply in bed with the Democrat Party and how they deceive and destroy America with every lie they tell, you'll have to pardon me if I have zero sympathy for Joe Scarborough or anyone else getting their panties in a wad right now.
