The Camden County Sheriffâs office in southern Missouri confirmed it received a tip regarding a group of Middle Eastern men asking suspicious questions about Bagnell Dam.

Lake News Online reported
The Camden County Sheriffâs Office has verified that it received a tip regarding a group of Middle Eastern men asking about Bagnell Dam and have forwarded the report to the FBI and a joint task force on terrorism. That does not mean that there is any reason to be scared or panicked that an attack is planned at the Lake of the Ozarks, CCSD Cpl. Scott Hines said, advising though that people should always be aware and alert as they go about their business.
â According to Hines, a Camden County deputy was out to lunch in the area last week when a staff member of the restaurant relayed an incident that occurred there a few days to a week prior that they thought was kind of weird. A group of Middle Eastern men were apparently asking about the dam and boat tours of the dam. The reporting person thought it was kind of odd, said Hines, but didnât call to report it at the time, only mentioning it to the deputy when he happened to be at the restaurant.

Remember the teachers who reported the Muslim clock kid? She was criticized by many freepers here.
Bump.

Be safe, be observant.
Situational awareness is a prime consideration, especially in the near term future.
Too many things going hinky right now.
just what I imagined when I heard about the weapons found in the “National Forest” south of the Lake, the cell phones at shops north and south of the Lake, and the gas canisters.
There was a lot of news about Bagnell this summer making it a better known target
Just Dam, Damn
The issue about the dam and the propane tanks are probably unconnected events unless the dweebs are crappy planners.
“Does anyone have any dam questions?” - dam tour guide.
Don’t you yet realize, the new FBI cannot do ANYTHING until the ragheads actually blow the dam and destroy everything downstream.
THEN they’ll spend weeks twisting their lace hankies and whimpering over how and why these nice peaceful middle easterners could have gotten radicalized.
Bring back J. Edgar. Even in his evening dress nylons and pumps he had more balls than the entire bureau combined has had for the last 20 years. IMHO, of course.
Cell phones, propane, terrorists and a dam, all within a 100 miles of eachother, do the math. (The Middle eastern men acting suspicious in these instances are, at the very least, terrorist wannabes)
Check out home made ‘hell cannons’ that fire propane cylinders.
More info on youtube.
IF they are these kinds of men I’m imagining what and where but I don’t want to give them any ideas on the million-to-one chance they might be looking.
Nonetheless, Gateway Pundit actually noted the explosives in the woods.
Sure sounds suspicious.
Is this the Bull Shoals dam? My Mom grew up in that area, we vacationed their every summer. Fun,fun times playing in the river and woods of the Ozarks.
Different lake. Bull Shoals is a lake that is on the Missouri/Arkansas border. Part of a giant chain of lakes the involve the White River. Starts in Oklahoma with Beaver, then Table Rock, Tanycomo and then Bull Shoals.
Lake of the Ozarks is a hydro-lake on the Osage River which flows to the Missouri. Above it has been added Truman and Pomme de Terre. It is situated in the center of Missouri. Say two hours apart by road.
I wouldn't be so sure. I live in the area, not in Camden county. People around there know more about Bagnell dam than what you would find on Wikipedia.
To "blow" that dam you would have to get inside it to do it, and it would take a lot of explosives to do it.
A suicide bomber with a explosive vest on a dam tour won't do it. A team of terrorists shooting their way in? It's possible.
I would look into "beefing" up security there.
You are right.
