If this turns out to be a hoax with the school district ignoring the FBI and LAPD advice...Then again can LAUSD possibly get any more screwed up? Mad Magazine material.

All schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District were ordered closed Tuesday due to a threat. NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton said the email received in New York was similar to the one received in Los Angeles. He added that the system there shut down schools without consulting with the Los Angeles Police Department. Bratton called the move a “significant overreaction.”

Of course it's a hoax. Terrorists don't give advance warnings when they're going to do something... that wouldn't make any sense at all.
Kid's will be able now to keep schools closed indefinitely by simply emailing in dumb threats every day.
Shows you how much worse the schools are out here. Lack of critical thinking and judgment, but every kid knows how to recycle.
