Mark Levin spent three hours tonight trashing Trump over his remarks about Ted Cruz, among other things. Levin failed to mention Cruz's attack on Trump behind closed doors with his donors, which he first denied, until an audio popped up proving Cruz did in fact make the comments he denied.

Behind closed doors, that's where politicians function best - Ted Cruz is no different. It may be tiring the way Trump puts it all out there, and I feel sure he is outgrowing that, but after Obamacare and so many other things, I will never ever ever support another politician who says one thing when the door is closed and another when the little people are listening in. Slippery Cruz.

Judging from your name, I think you can count and would be a good exercise for you to count the number of states and federal offices that were won in 2014.

Your knock on Cruz is that his efforts, for example, on Obama Care did not result in repeal therefore he accomplished nothing. That is your test. By that test Trump has done nothing, he did not enter the arena, he did not run for office, he did not publicly support Ted Cruz in his efforts. Having left Cruz unsupported, he now leaves his supporters unrebuked as they attack Ted Cruz for not succeeding.

If it were not alleging guilt by association, I would accuse Trump of hypocrisy; or perhaps there is a legitimate criticism to be made for Trump's failure to repudiate these attacks on Ted Cruz while his adherence claim credit for him for what Cruz is done.

I have refrained from commenting on your APA attacks which require a whole series of lengthy responses. I will simply say that Ted Cruz's position at the time he voted for APA was a perfectly valid conservative position endorsed by the Heritage Foundation, consistent with the economics preached by conservatives like Milton Friedman, and absolutely necessary if any treaty or agreement were to be negotiated. His position was quite open and when circumstances changed, Cruz openly changed his vote.

Cruz never advised GWB on immigration or much else for that matter. He worked on his campaign for a only short time, most of which was spent serving on the legal team for the Florida ballot battle after election day. After they won that fight, Cruz was not hired into the Bush White House and did no other work for the administration.

Check Trump's record on the the issue. Specifically check Trump's July 24th 2015 amnesty comment.

It wasn't until July 30th that he mentioned deportation for the non criminals and even then he had to add that he would expedite the good ones back.

I think what we are seeing is the second tier “establishment” getting blown to hell by Trump who is not doing lock step with these “talk show” nazis. I see this as a huge positive move for Trump to separate himself from the fringe right. He is going with the people and our Nation— not their narrative. He is drawing millions of new voters to what was the Gope and taking it over. Tomorrow night he will read Cruz very carefully .
