Rush is right. I think Trump is toast. National polls show Hillary thrashing him in spades by as much as 10 points.
At least Trump doesn’t criticize people behind closed doors and then disown it like a coward.

So it’s ok for Cruz to call Trump ill equipped to be President, wrong temperament, no judgement but when Trump brings up Cruz’s temperament, it’s sooo bad.
You Cruz bots, ask yourself where Cruz would be without Trump. Honestly look at whether he could have weathered the media storm for Fiorina surging, for first woman President, etc. Ask yourselves if he could have held up against Christie with his Trump style brashness, against Rubio with the media behind him.
Cruz would have been out before it started and he knows it. He’s let Trump fight the world then wants to step in but it doesn’t work that way. This isn’t a situation where we’ve knocked out the GOPe and permanently defeated the media. It’s an ongoing battle and there’s only one who can win it, Trump.
And if everyone goes for this true conservative who btw voted for TPA cloture and wants legal status for immigrants, if those good intentioned patriots, Rush included, get their way and Cruz goes ahead, it;s over. Cruz is only near the top because Trump has cleared the way. Cruz hasn’t fought the GOP and media 24/7 since the primaries started, Trump has. Cruz hasn’t weathered the biggest media firestorms in history, Trump has. Watch how quickly the GOPe and media reclaim their power if their latest strategy aka Cruz takes Trump out. Bank on it..
Rush spent a good deal of the third hour pointing out that he in no way is dumping on Trump.
Trump is at the one yard line in Iowa and he is going to totally screw this up and lose to Cruz.
Attacking him the way he is will crash his poll numbers.
He should stop attacking Cruz in the silly way he is. Trump can win this hands down by attacking Cruz on his weaknesses not like this.
