Rush is 100 percent right about Trump.
I agree Cruz cannot beat crusty. Only Trump can!
Hardly anyone on this planet makes it through without a few blunders. I don’t think it will do serious damage to either candidate.
Cruz opposes all subsidies. Some of the Texas oil interests have been publicly unhappy that Cruz refuses to go to bat for them
LOL
I think Rush blew it, but recovered quickly and will be fine with both of them.
:D
“But Trump’s kneejerk”
I have never once seen Trump kneejerk. He thinks fast and responds fast, but people mistake it for kneejerk reactions. It’s what businessmen do. It took Cruz half a day to come up with his music video “stand down” response.
While initially true, polling trends do not generally support that assertion regarding several Republican candidates.
Cruz and Trump don’t agree on everything. Being criticized by other candidates when they disagree is part of the game. Trump doesn’t seem to understand that.
Well, is that true or false? What specifically did Cruz accomplish in this example?
By denying ethanol subsidies, big oil still wins.
Could be. But my crystal ball is busted. I don’t make predictions. I would not be at all surprised if trump won the nomination.
Well, he at least responds fast. He has shown that it can take his thinking a while to catch up.
It’s one thing for them to criticize each other’s positions. But calling Senator Cruz a maniac is what a desperate Establishment politician would do. Remember “wacko birds”?
Frankly speaking, That sounds like the same arguments that were used to run Dole, McCain, Romney.......
I don't give a hoot how far left this country has moved, I am not going left with them.
That is compromising pragmatism. It's essentially a way of defeat, as we know from several election cycles..
Even if we, (Republican party) were to win, the compromise says we actually lost.
If this country is headed for destruction, I cannot help it along...I must resist in every way possible, even with my life if necessary. There will be no pragmatism from me.
So, following your logic, trump intended on attacking Cruz from the liberal point of view? Interesting. How exactly does that square with being a conservative? Inquiring minds want to know.
Apparently, the late William F. Buckley Jr., too.
What about Ronald Reagan?
Doesn’t matter.
I guess Breitbart isn’t really conservative either.
IOW, he’s a progressive.
