By virtue of their polling and their daily reporting, they have always thought of themselves as having the power to make or break candidates. Somebody like Todd Akin comes along and says whatever it was he says, the media says, "We're gonna take him out," and they did. Somebody like Christine O'Donnell comes out and wins in Delaware, "We can't have that. We're gonna take her out." They did. Sharron Angle, Tea Party candidate in Nevada, "What a kook. What a weirdo. We can't have that, we're gonna take her out." And joining with the Republicans and all three of these candidates, they did. They have this power.

I saw this first hand with Christine O'Donnell, who would have been a far better senator than Harry Reid's pet--Chris Coons.

The GOP and the media aligned to destroy her.

She had the audacity to take out the old fossil, Mike Castle, who was anointed to eb the Senator from DE, and who is as liberal as you could be.

She was not a nut, and neither was Sharron Angle. The SEIU's preloaded voting machines returned Harry Reid to the Senate where he does damage every day.

ex.... I blame that horse’s @zz Karl Rove for Christine O’Donnell’s demise. He decreed that she was a lost cause and wouldn’t provide any financial support for her campaign.
Grrrr!
