This section of the US Code being read, discussed, UNDERSTOOD (and linked to the beloved by the left & media Jimmy Carter) is a brilliant move.
Well the complete cut-off of immigration began in 1924, and it was not opened up again until 1965.
The reason for the complete shutdown was simple .. there were thousands and thousands who had entered the US through Ellis Island, and now we had to make sure they assimilated into the country .. and BECAME “AMERICANS”.
Sadly, that is not the case anymore. Now, we have Terrorist Training camps only miles from some of our major cities .. and nobody knows what goes on there; or when they might explode all over the country ..?????
And .. how on earth are they even allowed to be here .. since their reason for existence is to destroy the USA ..?????????? I mean really .. what the hell are we doing allowing these people to even come here since they advocate the overthrow on the US Government .. they actually, according to our Constitution, have NO RIGHT TO BE HERE.
I think the following is a better plan. If Christians are not allowed .. THEN NOBODY IS ALLOWED. END OF DISCUSSION.
STOP ALL IMMIGRATION FOR 10 YEARS. That is more sensible than just keeping out a few of this or that designation.
