Re: "Ted Cruz agrees that they took our jobs: he wants to "Halt any increases in legal immigration so long as American unemployment remains unacceptably high" and require that "Companies must wait one or two years between laying off a worker and bringing in any H-1B foreign workers to ensure that the program is not used to displace American workers.: (https://www.tedcruz.org/cruz-immigration-plan/)"
SO current levels of job replacement are OK with Cruz.
Has Cruz defined 'unacceptably high'? There ought to be no H-1B's imported as long as any one belonging to the numerous professions covered by H-!B is unemployed.
That two year requirement is real simple to work around ( redefine the job)
What about jobs off-shored ?
Legal immigration and off-shoring have been as devastating to the US economy and US workers as illegal aliens.
Who does Cruz think he's fooling ?

Cruz does seem to be playing with us about the H1B visa program.
