Top Jeb Bush political donor in Miami: I’ll vote for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump

One of Florida’s biggest conservative Republican moneymen — and a billionaire backer of Jeb Bush — is so disgusted by Donald Trump’s candidacy that if he has to, he’ll do the unthinkable:

“If I have a choice — and you can put it in bold — if I have a choice between Trump and Hillary Clinton, I’m choosing Hillary,” Miami healthcare magnate Mike Fernandez told the Miami Herald on Friday. “She’s the lesser of two evils.”

Outraged by Trump’s unimpeded ascent, Fernandez is taking on the GOP frontrunner himself. He purchased a full-page ad in the upcoming Sunday edition of the Herald calling Trump a “narcissistic BULLYionaire with a hunger to be adored.” He also likened him to some of history’s bloodiest demagogues.

“You have no idea how furious I am with my friends in the Republican Party who have embraced this guy,” Fernandez said.

ferndandez is just proof that just because you have money you aren’t necessarily smart. But he is being consistent...yes, jeb and hill are basically the same candidate.

Says a lot about the types of people backing Jeb and the types of policies they’ll be pressuring him to support.

A sure sign of a staunch/principled conservative.

Clearly the donor is not a conservative. He just tries to influence the Republicans to nominate a democrat.

On the contrary, he IS a "conservative" - he wants to "conserve" the way things are right now.

See how the word games are played inside the beltway? Why, you might say he's SEVERELY conservative!

Absolutely correct! The GOPe is worse than Hillary. Enablers of evil are always worse than the perpetrators of evil. Sadly, those who vote for enablers too often fail to see that.

My view is that he knows he can buy whatever he wants from jebito or shrillary, but not Trump.

Because making money is more important to him then some ideologue.

He knows he can buy Jeb, he knows he can buy Hillary

He knows he can not buy Trump, Trump is useless to him

It is about the access and the power he needs to get laws in his favor so he can make even bigger bucks

Buying a U.S. Senator is the best investment any wise business man could ever make. And the even sadder thing is, these Senators are so darn cheap.....

He won’t need to vote for Hillary if Trump is nominated (which is unlikely) because a 3rd party candidate will definitely materialize if our choice is between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Take it to the bank. And whoever it is will get a lot more votes than Ross Perot did. He or she might even win it all when you consider the number of disaffected Democrats out there.

Damn! Trump’s lost the Billionaire vote - that must be a demographic of at least 50 or 60 people.

And whoever it is will get a lot more votes than Ross Perot did. ........................... Riiiiight, the MSM will certainly leave a 3rd Party candidate alone, like calling them the outside pro gun lunatic fringe candidate. It would appear that the time is right for a 3rd party, but it won’t be a run off type election, so there would be no real winner. 92’ all over again, 39% would win even though 61% didn’t for them. The GOP needs an IKE, unfortunately, there are none around. Hillary in charge of international relations will be a disaster, she’ll only appoint the same type of idiots as we have now. The Peacenik’s days are over, Kumbaya has come to San Bernadino with more to follow.
