As details surrounding the San Bernardino, California, shooting gradually emerged Wednesday evening, President Barack Obama told CBS News that the U.S. has “a pattern now of mass shooting in this country that has no parallel anywhere else in the world.â€
The mass shooting at a social services agency in San Bernardino left at least 14 dead and 17 others wounded. It is also the deadliest mass shooting in the U.S. since Adam Lanza opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut, on Dec. 15, 2012, killing 26 children and adults, the Associated Press reported.
Using data from shootingtracker.com, which is maintained by a Reddit group, we’ve updated our map that documents all the U.S. mass shootings in 2015 alone. The group defines mass shootings as incidents when at least four people are killed or wounded, including the gunman.
Lot of shooting going on. Would be interesting to compare to a pre obama map.
How many of those are gang shootings?

On the facebook, the claim was made by some Euroweenie that there’ve been over 350 mass shootings in America so far this year.
“However, there’s not a standard definition of ‘mass shooting.’ Adam Lankford, a criminal justice professor at the University of Alabama previously told the NewsHour that FBI’s data included incidents where fewer than four people were shot and didn’t include shootings of multiple people that occur in a home or other uncrowded setting.”
It’s like the so called “Bush’s fault, war dead” list. That list even included a woman who died crossing the highway on foot in Kansas.
How many of those shooters had prior criminal histories and did not obey existing crime laws?
Mostly seem to have happened in cities, so my guess is that about 80-90% involve business disputes in the recreational pharmaceutical industry.

It does appear that God has stepped away from protecting America ... murdering 50 million of His gifts, in the womb, would tend to do that don’tchaknow.

Complete propaganda. Its shows one in my state that I certainly didn’t remember - in Wichita.
After clicking on it, first of all, 2 dead and 2 wounded...so they are counting wounded in their figure of 4.
Next, it was a fight outside a bar that got out of hand - not a spree killing, as the term ‘mass shooting’ implies.
I would also like to see how many are perpetrated by Muslims.

I love how the map makes it look like the whole us is plaqued by mass killings, with the placards being as large as the state of Connecticut...
this happens with not to scale graphics a lot... make the depiction seem worse than it is....
a graph showing the amount of news coverage would be interesting to see.
I’ve seen statistics like this recently. A drive-by that didn’t kill anyone is listed.
How many are not would be an easier question to answer...................
