French Reporters Stunned At Obama’s Ignorance: "He is an Ass*ole! An Ass*ole!"
DCWhispers ^ | December 1, 2015 | DCWhispers

The following was reported here earlier today:

Obama Just Said The Most Stunningly Idiotic Thing EVER.

Now it appears some among the Climate Summit's host-nation French media were just as outraged by Barack Obama's glaringly ignorant commentary regarding how mass shootings only happen in the United States - and said those words while standing on a stage in Paris less than two weeks after that city saw hundreds of its citizens gunned down and blown up by Muslim terrorists in a mass shooting attack.

It is said that following what was at times a painfully slow, slouching, and seemingly disinterested performance by President Obama, some among the French media were heard repeatedly using the words, "Connard! and Trouduc!" to describe their feelings regarding Mr. Obama's bizarre commentary - phrases rather specific to a certain part of the human anatomy.

Sorry France, our leader was elected by the lowest moral element of our populace and he was probably high on purple drank when he made this statement.

True, Bush would be gone whoever won, but the US repudiating Bush was very popular in Europe. John McCain certainly wouldn't have mean a repudiation of Bush and Cheney.

The press are liberal (in our sense of the word) over there, just like they are over here. So are the people who award the Nobel Prize. And most the people who post stuff online are, too (at least by our standards).

The man on the street may have had a "Gee Whiz" reaction -- "The United States elected a Black man, how about that!" -- but it's kind of like when major league sports get their first Japanese or Korean pitcher or Chinese basketball player.

There's certainly a novelty factor. Whether there's much more than that is harder to say. What I guess I'm saying is that the reaction of ordinary Europeans was more superficial and don't really need a lot of "I told you so."

As I recall, the French and all of Western Europe were WILDLY, WILDLY, WILDLY ecstatic when Obama was first elected.

They really shouldn't be that dissatisfied with him because I'm sure one of the things the French(and other Euros) hoped he would to do was take down the US a peg or three.

“... some among the French media were heard repeatedly using the words, “Connard! and Trouduc!” to describe their feelings regarding Mr. Obama’s bizarre commentary...”

That’s polite compared to what he is called in the US.

Didn’t the leader of Spain call Obama an empty suit upon meeting him, years ago?
