First, 12 people shot. Three people killed.

Next, the people shot were, at a minimum, in the PP parking lot. He did not flee to PP.

We don’t even know that the “no more baby parts” comment happened. That was some “anonymous” source that is not being proclaimed as fact.

And finally, he is mentally ill. Period. Just mentally ill.

When are we going to start talking about how we manage mentally ill people in this country?

OK, there's enough articles out there to know about the two victims (beyond all those pre-born victims whose lives are taken @ PP) that...
...(a) The shooter began shooting before he entered PP, and then took out PP's front windows with his shots;
...(b) That the male victim, who was on a cellphone at the time outside PP, apparently went BACK inside to warn others...
...(c) That the male victim wasn't just there 'cause that's the "hangout place" somebody'd want to be on Black Friday morning -- and same w/the the female victim, who accompanied a friend to PP that a.m.

So, yeah, that tells me the shooter was being target-specific.

(Obviously, he didn't value life if he was taking it -- especially since he went after bystanders & pro-life policemen)

When are we going to start talking about how we manage mentally ill people in this country?

Truth is, mentally ill folk have just as much right to a firearm as you or I, and I personally don't have an issue with that, so long as I am allowed to carry a means to put down a mentally ill person with a gun. The whole "mentally ill" garbage is a slippery slope that ends in Conservatives eventually being labeled mentally ill. We have no need of discussing how to control mentally ill.

He positioned himself to shoot several cops and bystanders behind and on the SW corner of the PP (if you listen to the police scanner audio, the very first calls indicate he was, while not yet inside, was at the PP, he was already shooting at the police from that location) and then he later shot his way inside but couldn't get past the interior security doors, but where he barricaded himself inside the PP for several hours and shot through the exterior walls at the police and randomly through the interior walls before surrendering. We know of at that of at least one person killed was at the PP "supporting her friend" - Jennifer Markovsky - not sure what her friend was there for, if for an abortion or for some other services but her friend was shot in the hand while inside the PP and Markovsky was killed while inside the PP.

Ke'Arre Stewart was also killed at the PP, he went with someone to the clinic, but it is not clear whether he was killed inside or while in his car parked out front of the building.
