John Kasich Refuses to Say if He Would Support Donald Trump as Republican Nominee
ABC News ^ | 11/30/2015 | Ben Gittleson

Ohio Gov.John Kasich today would not commit to supporting frontrunner Donald Trump as the party's nominee, saying that he did not expect the real estate mogul to win.

"I think he's very divisive and I do not believe he will last," Kasich said when asked if he would support Trump if he wins the Republican primary.

Kasich pointed to Trump's recent back and forth with TheNew York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski as a reason he won't win the nomination. Trump has drawn criticism this week for appearing to mimic Kovaelski's mannerisms, caused by a muscular disorder, which Kasich said Trump "absolutely mocked."

"Somebody who divides this country, here in the 21st century, who's calling names of women and Muslims and Hispanics and mocking reporters, and says, ‘I didn't do it,' but he did do it, it's just not going to happen," said Kasich.

They want Trump to COMMIT to supporting the Republican party.. but they do NOT want to say what they will do.

What a bunch of political "A$$HOLES."

If I NEVER hear or see of Kasich again it will be too soon.

“I remember a show of hands and ALL repubs having to sign the pledge.”

This. Remember how Trump raising his hand to the “gotcha” Fox debate question caused days and days of controversy?

Kasich should have raised his hand if he couldn't support the eventual nominee. Something is bad wrong with Kasich.

"There are plenty of people who are registered Republicans who reliably vote Republican who will not vote for Donald Trump if he is the nominee."

Yes, these same folks sat home and allowed Obama to be elected twice. They are so smug in their mistaken belief that they are teaching someone a lesson.

So you are going to allow the low information and entitlement kids run your life?

Life is tough. It is even tougher if you are stupid.

It actually was a negative ad against gaysick kasich. It cost Trump nothing. And millions of people either saw it or heard about it.

No, they voted for McCain and for Romney. Did you?

But they’re not going to vote for Donald Trump, who could be the poster child for an entitled punk operating with very low information.

Ted Cruz is the brilliant conservative candidate in the race, and Marco Rubio is the “acceptable moderate” in the race. It will come down to those two in the Springtime.

He is a Jimmy Stewart kinda of guy. In a John Wayne world. We need a Duke to kill our enemies. Not a dud to placate them.

In real life, in WW2, Jimmy Stewart was a bomber pilot, who flew 20 combat missions, and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, among other decorations.

Meanwhile, tough guy John Wayne sat out the war making movies.

Didn’t Trump get blasted by the RNC for not pledging to support the nominee?

He won’t. He’s GOPe, and if the GOP carries his state, they’ll win.

“And, I daresay, he used to be a dependable conservative. Now, he's just a dick. “

Nah, once a dick, always a dick. It's just like all these “conservative Republicans” we've been voting for all these years, that now when the chips are down, we find out that they aren't conservative nor have they ever been! Shame on all of us for “believing in all these worthless pricks! And that goes for a number of the Tea Party candidates too. The TP needs to develop a plan to vet candidates so we don't get any more Todd Akins or Christine O'Donnells.

He actually gives McKees Rocks, PA a bad name (which, if you've been there you know, would be AWFULLY hard to do)

This guy used to be the nice, affable guy in politics. Now, he’s just a dick.

Yep, pretty much how it is.

Years ago, I remember watching a show on bomber pilots and they had “James Stewart” as one of the people interviewed. My Dad told me it was “the” Jimmy Stewart.

He served in the most dangerous service doing the most dangerous job.

John Wayne made movies.

Yes, I voted for both McCain (while holding my nose)and Romney (who would have made a far better president than Obama).

I favor Cruz but will vote for whomever the Republicans nominate versus whomever the democrats nominate.

But I must be a RINO because I only pass 16 of the 17 Conservative litmus tests.

I do remember a show of hands at the debate, but I don’t remember all of them signing onto a pledge. I thought only Trump did that. Regardless, we all know the GOPe support for Trump—should he win the nomination—will be aimed to sabatoge the nominee and get Hillary elected. We have plenty of past history to show the duplicitious nature of these folks. Whereas we generally used to loyally support the nominee even if he was a barf-worthy moderate, the moderates never returned the favor!

Since their are like 10 of us still left on planet earth who know that I thought I would make the point in an entertainment format that more people would understand.

I was speaking of movie metaphors.

No need to get the belt out and whoop my behind.

:-)

Besides...you probably don't have that kind of money....

:-)
