How do you do “legal” with one tag, two deer? In the story, they both had tags, but my point was what if dad, who seemed amused by his kid shooting a deer with another directly behind it, didn’t have his own tag? #3 below - dad needs a refresher & the kid needs to learn not to shoot if something is behind his target.
Remember the Four Rules of Firearm Safety (per WI regs):
1. Treat every gun as if it were loaded.
2. Always point the muzzle in a safe direction.
3. Be sure of your target and beyond.
4. Keep your finger out of the trigger guard until you are ready to shoot
