I'm a Luddite at heart. The idea of a drone leaving packages off is creepy. What's to stop people from dropping off stuff I don't want, or spying on me when the skies are cluttered with drones? I can't help but suspect that there will be drone-window collisions and drones damaging cars near the house entrance.

Anyone could ship items to you even now, but why would they as it would cost them the price of the item and you would know who sent it. The delivery mechanism is the only difference in this case.
