However, I have relatives living in Sicily.
They are afraid.
They were once ruled by the Mohammedans, and they have not forgotten how bad it was. When my mother was a child, she said that the North Africans would come occasionally to sell their wares. The townsfolk would hide their women and children the whole time the Muslims were there.
There have been some mass landings by Libyan “refugees”. There was one incident where the police had to arrest the boatload of them for murdering Christians that were in their midst and dumping them in the Mediterranean.
It does not look good for any part of Europe.
The mafia alone is not enough to deter them.
It will take a full blown military push back, with heavily armed troops and air support to convince them to stay where they are.

my mother (and I guess I do) has relatives there. Went to see them once.
an army is needed.
or as another freeper said the other day, just deport each and every last one.
i can’t imagine the west changing its current mindset enough to stop all of this.
