Jeb Bush: Trump is 'uninformed' and 'preying on people's fears'
Washington Post ^ | 11/29/15 | Ed O'Keefe

Donald Trump is "uninformed" - but would be a better president than Hillary Clinton, according to GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush.

Bush, knocked off the top of the Republican pack earlier this year by Trump, made the comments about the business mogul on Sunday on CBS's "Face the Nation" in response to a question about Trump's calls for a national database to track Muslims.

"Look, I just think he's uninformed. He knows what he's saying. He's smart. He's playing you guys like a fiddle, the press, by saying outrageous things and garnering attention," Bush told moderator John Dickerson. "That's his strategy, is to dominate the news. The simple fact is that he's been wrong on Syria and on the refugees pretty consistently.

'preying on people's fears'

Good grief, now Yeb is channeling Al Gore!

In February 2004 Al Gore went full Howard Dean when he launched into guttural screaming in which he charged that President Bush; "He betrayed this country! He played on our fears!... He took America, he took America on an ill-conceived foreign adventure dangerous to our troops, an adventure that was preordained and planned before 9-11 ever took place!"

Bush says that Trump isn’t a serious candidate. I think that Bush is a seriously deluded candidate.

“The simple fact is that he’s been wrong on Syria and on the refugees pretty consistently.”

Even Carson who can hardly find his way home just visited the Syrian refugee camps and said they don’t seem like they even want to come to the United States. Duh! But the terrorists sure do. Young able bodied males of military age.

--You notice that the MSM never tells you how many Hillary has at her rallies. She is lucky if she has 250 show up, and she is the Front Runner????????

Yeb isn't exactly packing them in either...

Good, insightful comment. Yeb and his like minded pals in the clubby GOP establishment fear Trump because they are afraid this would-be ‘new sheriff in town’ would put an end to free ride that their bankster friends get.

Trump hit is brother hard when he talked about the waste the wars have been

How Trump would take the oil and provide the families who lost their sons and daughters and wounded warriors - reparations is quite provocative and I imagine almost shocking to the Bush clan.

Trump is calling the Bush family out on their messed up internationalist view of the world and the catastrophic consequences it has had.

Trump is telling us that we are not going to take this new world order crap any more.

Read my lips no new compassionate conservatives!

Trump is coming

What! I am stupid because Trump plays to my fears? Perhaps you could stop insulting potential voters? Just a suggestion.

Scoreboard, Bushman.

Jebito should be calling out Mitch,Paul,Harry, Husien and Nancy the root cause of his problem. The Donald is the beneficiary of these people screwing the rest of us. Jebito is really slow and doesn’t know what is going on inside the country.

The delusional GOPe. They still think America can be bought and fooled into a candidate. I would say we can thank the RAT party for educating many of the electorate through their horrid creation, Obama, et al.

LOL; and, after Jeb said that a Trump Presidency was “scary”. And .. Jeb doesn’t believe that’s “preying on people’s fears” ..??

Jeb’s message is all over the place .. and that’s why I will not ever vote for him.

“a question about Trump’s calls for a national database to track Muslims.”

Really? Did Trump call for that? I thought a news media, lying, spawn of Satan, treasonous journalist suggested it. Then they all feigned outrage at even the thought of such an idea (which they put forward in the first place).

Wouldn’t it be great if Trump implemented all of the horrible accusations thrown at him, and the Tea party did the same?

I never felt the inclination to hunt down the traitorous journalist, educators, and politicians, or blow up Planned Parenthood, etc. like people of my political persuasion are constantly being accused of. But the false accusations are starting to make me wonder, am I falling down on the job? Am I not doing my part?

All of the lying traitors should lose sleep wondering when and if the accusations they have made could become self-fulfilling prophecies.

Jeb had 80 people at his rally

Even McCain did better than that -- sometimes. He would draw upwards of 200.

Then, there was a flight to NH -- when Barry was doing his Euro tour -- that McCain drew a crowd of one (1) -- and that one was a reporter.

Trump is engaged in international trade every day. Jeb is merely an advocate for illegal aliens from Mexico.
