The problem with Trump is that he doesn’t engage his brain before he opens his mouth.

And the problem with a lot of conservatives is that they don’t care. They are so done with the GOPe that they will elect ANYONE who stands up to them from within the party, regardless of that person’s stance on the issues.

Have you and CW considered volunteering your services to the GOP-e? I understand Karl Rove has the connections to get you some $$$ for your hate-Trump vendettas, why not cash in?

Your comment is ridiculous. Our country has HUGE problems and the man’s occasional brash comments are what sets you sitting on a pin’s point?

And THAT is an important reason why I don’t believe he’d make a good president.

Yes, this is a serious defect in a potential president: impulsiveness. I have no problem with voting for someone who's not as evangelical as I am; I've done that plenty of times! The question is what kind of leader he would be. I think Trump would be an embarrassment, even dangerous. Then add to that the fact that Trump is not truly conservative on some important issues. I'm for Cruz.

“The problem with Trump is that he doesn’t engage his brain before he opens his mouth.”

Actually, to people like myself that’s a virtue, not a problem, because it gives us confidence that Trump is probably telling use what he really believes.

The REAL problem is that almost all politicians practice hours every day in front of a mirror making sure they never say anything that might offend anyone and NEVER saying what they really believe or what they will really do if elected. Therefore we have no idea whatsoever these people are really all about.

Simon Peter had this exact same problem. Guess what? Jesus Himself made Simon Peter His first-round draft pick.

Do you understand?

Jesus picked deeply flawed men -- which is the only choice He had because no one other than Him is perfect -- to carry out His will.

And they performed admirably and effectively.
