I’d argue that Cruz is holding back, waiting to play his full hand with a vehemence.
First of all, he remains at the top of the pile and this is because of folks like us, who guardedly await Cruz to throw down the gauntlet.
Second, hey, if Donald Trump gets the nomination I will vote for him for sure, but I just don’t think he’s going to be the presidential nominee.
Cruz might well be bargaining with Trump, possible VP slot for him.....but I’m very confident when Cruz makes his move he will rise to the top.
Meanwhile, on Meet the Press, we have a round table of Eugene Robinson, Andrea Mitchell, Hugh Hewett and another bunch of righteous journalistic liberals all sitting around discussing Donald Trump with their mumbled reasons why he’s WRONG, DEAR LORD HE IS WRONG, HE IS WRONG ABOUT THE SYRIAN REFUGEES AND THE NEW JERSEY CELEBRATIONS BOO HOO BOO HOO BOO HOO HE IS WRONG, IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER< THE SON AND THE HOLY GHOST WHEN WILL THE STUPID AMERICANS GET THAT HE IS WRONG.
Meanwhile, the more these crybabies do this the more the public doubles down just to flip these know-nothings the bird.
