Bush's policies in the Middle East were focused on taking out Terrorist states or terrorist-sponsoring states. The whole, “If you break it, you own it” dictum of Colin Powell, along with the “Religion of Peace” and attempts at nation-building were wrong, in hindsight.

Obama’s policies are designed to totally destabilize and cause death, destruction and a vast weakening of American power and prestige.

It appears Obama’s policy has been much more successful at its mission than George Bush's!

Maybe Obama should have been speaking in front of that “Mission Accomplished” banner on the aircraft carrier Abe Lincoln, not Bush!

Absolutely bud! You got it.
Seems obamas warriors,ISIS in particular, are also hopped up on everything from amphetamines to coke to who knows what. The drugs make them impervious to pain and willing to do almost anything as we have seen. Here is a clip from front page mag:

http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/252783/isis-meth-heads-tweeking-name-islam-dawn-perlmutter

“The Islamic State does not just have an army. It has an army of meth heads. For ISIS fighters burning 45 people alive is a tweekers barbecue and beheading 21 Christians is a speed freak beach party. The difference between ISIS militants and your run of the mill junkie is that ISIS fighters are tweeking in the name of Islam. They are high on two drugs, amphetamines and jihad. ISIS true believers are using homemade meth produced in captured pharmaceutical plants to earn their warrior stripes and Islamic State status. Islamic ideology rationalizes the violence and the drugs transform them into Mujahideen maniacs with enhanced stamina, superhuman strength, no empathy, no fear and who literally feel no pain.

In 2014 it was widely reported that Syria was manufacturing and trafficking large amounts of amphetamines, primarily a drug called Captagon, generating hundreds of millions of dollars in profits. Captagon, a brand name for Fenethylline, is a synthetic stimulant that is a popular recreational drug in the Middle East. As a result of the Syrian civil war the drug began to be produced on a large scale in Syria. In just one incident the Syrian Arab Army seized a tank truck containing a ton of pills. Captagon is smuggled to Lebanon which traffics it to the rest of the Gulf region. In 2014 Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces (ISF) seized 55 million pills; in 2013 they seized 12.3 million; and prior to 2013 they seized less than half a million pills per year. Large scale seizures of Captagon in Lebanon were unheard of until the collapse of Syria. Several reports in August 2014 claimed that ISIS was receiving large revenues by manufacturing and trafficking methamphetamine at pharmaceutical manufacturing labs they seized in Aleppo. The Aleppo plants contained the chemicals and equipment necessary to make high grade product.”

Sadly, AB, I agree with you that Dubya was wrong about the religion of peace mantra, that Iraq would greet us with waving arms.

Sure they had Saddam and his nastiness but how the hell did Saddam and his disgusting sons gain power anyway?

There is no worse soldier on the planet than an Arab, be he Sunni, Shiite or whatever flavor of the day. Arabs do not fight, if they did one of those nutball countries would be peaceably governed. Instead a bunch of nomads, thieves and thugs fight, there is no police force pretty much anywhere and when times get tough they pack up and leave.

Bah, humbug....making an army out of Arabs is like building a house of cardboard. Fist rain and it collapses.

Bah, humbug.

I'm still going with the chaos theory, its the only one that makes sense.

The regime is so slick its amazing.

Just fathom using the excuse of the environment or not wanting to take out the drivers of ISIS oil trucks headed to Turkey. Really unbelievable! And of course the DBM never telling what is actually going on as well.

The only reason we blew up any ISIS oil trucks at all is because Russia was getting ready to do it so zero couldn't let Pootie get ahead of him and take all the glory. So we blew some up as well.

Boil it all down and all we do is create chaos everywhere.ISIS is a perfect group for the Chicago regime. They kill and create chaos everywhere are all drugged up and burn out in their 30's never leaving someone we have to deal with later.

Right now with the "refugees" the game is to place as many of them all over the world in hopes they too will create endless chaos. We worry endlessly that they will come here. ANd we should. But, the truth is there are already 800k refugees from the mid-east and Syria so our terrorists are already here in big numbers. We just don't know it.

Bush’s ‘surge’ and subsequent nation building was working, Iraq’s terror group couldn’t work openly. Many other people of the middle east dictatorships and theocracies were wanting to have a free vote because they understood what was happening for a ‘free’ Iraq could happen for them.

The poor decision of not supporting the Iraqi security forces control within their own borders made during Obama’s administration lead to a terror group claiming connected territory in both Syria and Iraq. Iraq shouldn’t have been given a choice of our forces being there until they could control their own territory. Syria should only be a call for Assad to set up a free and fair election that acknowledges documents as our bill of rights and our constitution. No Americans should be in harms way there, nor should we be supplying weapons that are unsecured.

The difference being good judgement, learning and adapting from mistakes vs knowing-it-all and not acknowledge being wrong.
