Former CIA director Michael Morell said last week that the White House has hampered the intelligence community's ability to attack oil fields and oil trucks controlled by ISIS. Morell said that, "we didn't go after oil wells, actually hitting oil wells that ISIS controls, because we didn't want to do environmental damage, and we didn't want to destroy that infrastructure." He went on to say that there was a pretentious feeling in the war room that bombing ISIS oil targets would indeed cause environmental damage.
On November 18th, Colonel Steve Warren said that striking oil trucks owned by ISIS may cause harm to the drivers who may be innocent.
So, this is a decision that we had to make. We have not struck these trucks before. We assessed that these trucks, while although they are being used for operations that support ISIL, the truck drivers, themselves, probably not members of ISIL; they're probably just civilians. So we had to figure out a way around that.

Imagine that! A politically correct way of fighting a war while pleasing Gaia in doing no harm to the environment.
I guess we will start fighting wars with paint guns, BB guns and pellet guns while mightily smiting those enemy warriors with Nerf clubs.
The thought of that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to know that the environment is now safe.
We need a new CIA.

The last Exit on the Freeway To Hell is coming up in 2016. If we don't get off this Highway Of Death then we are on for the long downhill plunge into the fire at the bottom unless we pull out all the stops and take matters into "our own" hands and STOP the bus if it careens past the Exit.
Ploesti was an attack on a refinery, not the oil field. Field are hard to really damage, and the machinery destroyed is fairly easy to replace. An individual pump is hardly a worthwhile target for a smart bomb. But a refinery is the ultimate soft target. Use cluster bombs.
Totally agree. During WWII the whole country was united, we were all Americans fighting wars on two fronts and people worked together.
I hope people can finally be educated enough to realize by Nov 8, 2016 that we are fighting a two front war again with domestic enemies, the democrat party plus MSM and foreign enemies, Russia, China, Isis, Islam and other threats.
I hope we all come together as Patriotic Americans and vote accordingly. .
Usually we excuse ourselves and do it in private, but once in a while...Nature catches us off guard, LOL!
