Is Daniels a GOPe?
Mitch Daniels was a good Governor. Then he put aside his Presidential aspirations to help Mitt Romney.

Indiana seems more like a rust belt state than a mid-west state.

I believe without checking it out that Daniels started out on the Dan Quayle staff. How Quayle has been forgotten! Even his son couldn’t hold a House seat but one term.
