Ted Cruz became a Canadian citizen at birth. Canada also has birthright citizenship. Obama was born in the US (supposedly) thereby making him a citizen at birth (jus solis).

Ted Cruz got dual citizenship at birth. He didn’t require naturalization in either nation. He has since renounced his Canadian citizenship.

What you ignore is that Ted Cruz’s mother was or is a natural born US Citizen. Which makes him a natural born US Citizen.

Obama was born in the US (supposedly) thereby making him a citizen at birth (jus solis). Except in a self-authored booklet he said he was born in Kenya (unless the photo I saw was of a counterfeit which is possible).
