France's foreign minister suggested Friday that, in spite of his country's resistance to allowing him to remain in power, Syrian dictator Bashar Assad's forces could play a valuable role in wiping out the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

The French government has insisted -- along with the Obama administration -- that any political peace plan for Syria involve Assad stepping down from the position of power he (and his father before him) has held for decades.

If Assad’s country didn’t want him in power he wouldn’t have a 200,00 man Syrian Arab Army, would he?

Noo one has yet defined the strength or even the cohesive existence of a “Free Syrian Army”

The SAA are not fighting as forced conscripts!
It is ISIS threatening people with death of boys don’t fight at age 14

France will be forced by Islamic terrorism to move toward Russia and Russian strategy, tactics and method.

NATO will be forced to choose France over Turkey, and Obama will be in the cold, he will have to allow NATO to boot Turkey or blow his cover.

The US will pull overt support of Turkey, and ISIS will lose ground.

Both Obama and ISIS will look for a work-around to continue US support.

I wonder how many of the FSA are from Syria, not very many I would guess. I bet many are from SA.

Don’t think were being told the truth about this war.

To be fair, Obama should step down when Assad is forced to step down.
