Donald Trump’s various rude and offensive comments haven’t hurt him at all

Donald Trump hadn't said 300 words during his announcement speech before he called Mexican immigrants rapists. Even before that, he'd already made fun of his sweaty opponents and President Obama. But by word 300, he'd already made the comment that prompted a backlash from Univision — a backlash that drew new attention to his hard-line stance on immigration and, by extension, moved him into first place in the polls.

Trump mocked Vietnam veteran John McCain's war record. He made a comment about Fox News's Megyn Kelly that was widely interpreted as referring to her menstruation. He retweeted a joke about Iowans, following it up by asking how stupid the voters in the state were. He endorsed a database to track Muslims and, just this weekend, appeared to mock a reporter with a disability. And he is still the Republican front-runner.

There's really no correlation between the incidents above and Trump's poll numbers. His lead did start to slip a bit in September and October -- but that was because Ben Carson was gaining ground more than it was because Trump was faltering.

But that's Trump's core base of support, the people who polling has repeatedly shown are solidly for Trump come-what-may. Isn't it possible that Trump has turned an increasing number of people off over the course of the campaign?

It's possible -- but that doesn't seem to be happening either.

It's certainly possible that Trump will say or do something that finally turns most Republicans against him. But by now, it seems unlikely. Trump has literally called voters stupid and seen his poll numbers rise. By now, mocking or insulting people of whom voters are already skeptical seems like a pretty safe bet...................LOL!!!

Trump’s popularity is fed by the fact that every time a liberal outlet tries to spin his words, he just lets them have it. He does not backtrack, he does not apologize for being too harsh. It’s about time someone stood up to the liberal propaganda machine! People love it!

Barry’s rude and offensive comments about Christians and conservative Americans never hurt him. I don’t know why a “rude and offensive” comment about a “reporter”, disabled or not, should hurt Trump.

Depends on your definition of “rude” and “offensive.”
Somehow, the Democrat can find actual facts “rude and offensive” not to mention ‘racist.’
I figure folks are getting pretty tired of this. I just wish the ‘Pubbies would take notice of this, but they consider Democrats to be their co-workers (or co-rulers) and the rest of us to be ‘The Great Unwashed.’

It seems that Trump’s hardcore supporters are for him no matter what he says or does. But the question remains, how many others beyond that group he can attract, or if, instead, he turns off even more than he attracts. We’ll see how he fares with Republican voters in the primaries, starting in February.

If Trump is getting away with saying spiteful and childish things, the media should blame themselves. Republicans and Conservatives have been called “cruel”, “evil”, “racist”, “sexist”, etc. simply for opposing any part of the liberal agenda. So along comes someone who occasionally is, well, mean, but who doesn't care if he's called mean. Why would I, as a Republican, waste any energy chastising Trump over tasteless remarks? Trump isn't going to listen to me, and the media will continue to call all other conservatives “mean” anyway. So...I don't care what Trump says. I am supporting Ted Cruz, but could live with a Trump/Cruz ticket. Now that the Muzzies are blowing up the developed world, do I really care if Trump offends people with his remarks?

Somebody (maybe Donald himself) should publish a hard cover, oversized, coffee table book showing “Twas a Blustery Day in Donald Trump’s Campaign”
Donald’s Greatest Hits 2015” Starting with that first Fox News debate. Donald would proudly pose with and autograph such a book. The book comes with a tassled bookmark made of light gold, slightly tangled.

Might be Trump’s core of supporters realize the media is lying, misquoting him constantly so now we ignore whatever they say.

The New York Times & the entire Obamabot media has nary a clue as to what is afoot with DT, politically!!! Trump crosses “all” types of political stripe folk, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Minorities, etc. He will easily win the POTUS race, either on the GOP ticket or, if the GOP Establishment fools with him, he will win the POTUS as an independent!!! It is as simple as that.

So every time the Obamabot media hits Trump with their falsehoods, etc...Trump gets stronger. Obama is toast, Hillary Clinton is toast, The Democrat Party is toast. That, folks, is the real, true, legacy Barack Hussein Obama has left...his own political destruction, the political destruction of Hillary Clinton and the political destruction of the Democrat Party!!!

What idiots, just like so many African-Americans, that still believe Obama helped them....when all he did was use & abuse them and gave them nothing in return....but unending economic & opportunity slavery!!! Go figure!!! Some folks just don’t get it, when they are being screwed, royally!!!
