Government spokeswoman: Tusk should be tried over Smolensk air crash

A Polish government spokeswoman Elzbieta Witek has said that Poland’s former Prime Minister and current president of the European Council Donald Tusk should be tried for the way the 2010 Smolensk air crash, in which President Lech Kaczynski died, was handled.

Witek said that Poland’s State Tribunal [court that handles cases against highest state officials] would be "a good thing" for Tusk.

“Tusk should be put before the State Tribunal, because he has a lot to answer for”, Lipinski said. “It is enough to recall giving away of the Smolensk investigation to the Russians,” he said. Lipinski reportedly accused Tusk of negligence and pointed to the failure of bringing back the wreckage to Poland.

The Law and Justice (PiS) party [recently back in power], from which the late President Kaczynski hailed, never accepted an inquiry that found the Smolensk crash was an accident. PiS believes that the disaster was nothing short of a political assassination of President Kaczynski and an explosive device was planted in the plane to bring it down.

” was nothing short of a political assassination of President Kaczynski and an explosive device was planted in the plane to bring it down.”

Lame. It couldn’t possibly have been a political leader, with a hard deadline and get-there-it is, in full IFR fog, from a still developing country, flying into an even more backward one, with a reputation for abysmal commercial air safety. Pressured pilots, in backwards places, in full IFR, in old planes, is a bad combination.

This is Buddy Holly writ large. Nothing more.

Tusk was responsible for sandbagging the official investigation/s in ways that are inexplicable. Multiple independent investigations have concluded the aircraft was destroyed in the air by explosives. This is why Tusk is suspected of being a major player in the assassination of the preceding government and an accessory with Putin’s Russian intelligence services in covering up this assassination.

Why don’t you ask him if he’s going to stay? (Tusk!)

Wow ! Witek,Kacznski,Lipinski,Tusk; Everyone of those Polish last names posted in this article can be found in a Chicago phone book. In fact I knew or met folks with those last names who are very likely related to them.
