PARIS (AP) -- Still gripped by shock and grief, Paris will play host to a long-awaited U.N. climate conference under tragic circumstances that none could have foreseen.
But delegates to the two-week talks starting Monday insist they won't let the Nov. 13 attacks that killed 130 people in the French capital distract them from the task at hand: crafting a landmark deal to fight global warming.

Focusing on “climate change” while we are at war with Islamo Nazism is like focusing on mitten design. What kind of insanity is this? Paris just got attacked and world leaders are gathering to discuss mitten design? Actually I would call mitten design more important than climate change. At least a mitten is something real.
It makes perfect sense that the solution to further Paris-style attacks is to have a Globull Worming conference.
Of course - just the other day, I was remarking to my wife that the problem with our air conditioner would likely go away if we went out to dinner at our favorite pizza joint.
WTF is wrong with people? OK, I can (sort of) understand a very great desire to clean up the environment, reduce Mankind’s impact on the planet, etc. Sort of - there’s a decided lack of science and logic in their position and proposed solutions, but I can understand the root desire of environmentalists. But how is that in ANY WAY related to terrorism? After all, it wasn’t the ELF (Earth Liberation Front) that murdered all of those people in Paris, it was a bunch of fanatical Moslems who couldn’t give a rat’s ass about the environment or how hot or cold it is. It seems like much of the world, including much of our so-called “leaders,” are suffering from an advanced form of collective insanity.
OK!! Everybody pay attention!

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
The true depth of progressive EVIL cannot be measured.
Here’s your problem: you’re using science and logic. The insane and ignorant followers of the greedy, power-hungry leaders of this world simply don’t bother with either of those concepts - it is all about FEELINGS. No better than our ignorant cave-man ancestors, but at least those guys had the excuse that NOBODY really knew anything about science and how things worked. Now EVERYONE has access to the information, so I’d argue that we’ve regressed.

Meanwhile, the UN can just outlaw oil as the source of all carbon, the cause of global warming.
That cures the global warming.
Next, the rest of the world funds solar and wind farms in ISIS controlled territory, Syria, etc.
Problem solved.
Wait ... I forgot the peaceful Nuke powerplants that Iran is building, for clean energy and peaceful economic growth and enhancing the quality of life for its citizens.
This is such a win-win.
Especially since the U.S. is officially not even at war with the ROP -- "Religion of Piece (of Sh!t)"
That's about one week and six days too long.
At the first session it should be announced: "Global Warming is a scientifically proved hoax. It has always been a hoax. The rest of the conference is cancelled. Enjoy your stay."
We have regressed in that our leaders are dumber-than-usual liars.

The spinners are working overtime to make this Summit look like some kind of “victory” against terrorism. In truth, however, one has zero relationship to the other. No one with a room temperature IQ (or higher) will buy this pathetic assertion..
