He needs lots of training. Ted has never ran anything and is not a unifier.

Ted was my guy from the beginning.

Trump has done such a great service to this country by telling the truth and thereby draining the swamp and exposing the establishment.

For that Trump gets my full support.

Trump/Cruz is my ideal ticket.

He ran the office of Solicitor General in Texas. And leaders aren’t unifiers. They lead. If you want a unifier, look for a community organizer.

He needs lots of training. Ted has never ran anything and is not a unifier.

Ted Cruz, as Solicitor General of Texas, led the office of 4,000 employees, including 700 lawyers.

During private practice at Morgan Lewis, Ted Cruz built their appellate practice to be one of the top 20 law firms on National Law Journal's "Appellate Hot List" in 2010.

Ted has spend almost his entire life in government as a lawyer, the last two years as a senator. He has zero experience as an executive. He has never had to meet a payroll. He will require a lot of on the job training.

I guess I dont understand that boast about being ready from day one.

No one in history has ever just taken office and it all just worked, not even those that would be considered to be the great presidents. It isn’t a dictatorship, and there is a lot of stuff canidates are just not privy to.

**************

And being president won’t require him to meet a payroll either. True he has
spent most of his working career in some type gov’t position but that generally
has been true of many past presidents. None of this will matter if Cruz doesn’t
improve his poll position substantially.

I used to use that talking point too. He was a government lawyer is a pretty weak answer to the never running anything charge. Ted has never ran anything big like a successful company or state. He needs training.

Ted is also the only candidate who knows how all the branches of government need to work and had first hand experience with two of them - the Supreme Court and Congress.

I’m not sure that expanding the power and scope of lawyers is what we are looking for in a President.

Solicitor General is an executive in the public sector. Unless you count the Screen Actors' Guild, President Reagan's experience in the private sphere was mostly as an actor, repreesentative of General Electric, etc. If he had some private business where he had to meet a pyroll, I'm not familiar with it, and it has never been listed as a qualification. His main Executive Experience was as Governor of California, but that isn't private either.

I guess the last president we had that "had to meet a payroll" was Jimmy Carter, who owned a peanut farm.
