Cowboy Bob you had a good line of reasoning going, so don't take this personally.

But you really humped the mystical pooch when you farted out...with 16 years of the executive branch....

PLEASE, PLEASE look back over the history of this country and show me where one party won four consecutive presidential elections.

And don't even bother trotting out FDR and Truman. They were an abomination before God and the beginnings of our present situation.

Statistically I have a better chance of being hit in the butt by an asteroid than either party has of winning four consecutive presidential elections.

Just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean that it can't!

George HW Bush could have won a second term if he stayed true to Reagan. But he was a GOPe NWO squish. He squandered everything that Reagan built.

If you remember, the Democrat party was in danger of collapsing. One of the reasons H Ross Perot gave for entering the race was to "save the Democrat Party."

It Trump wins the nomination and selects Cruz as VP, we could very well see 16 straight years of Republican rule. The only thing to prevent it would be a major scandal - and it would be up to Trump and Cruz to make sure that no scandals occur during their administrations.

Anything is possible, but not probable.
This isn’t the same society we had in the early 90s.
The dems start with 45 percent of the national vote.

Yes, some blacks are waking up. But if the dems had better candidates than Hillary! and Bernie this would be a much different election, even after the damage Obama has done.
I am guilty of being pie eyed at times and thinking we could pull off a 16 year run.

The millennials are fickle. They follow the cult of personality candidate much more than older people. They were a major part of the unholy group that gave us 8 years of Obama.

I realise the democrats bench has been decimated by the reaction to the Obama administration but they are far from finished.

The evangelical voters are just as fickle as the younguns.
I personally know people who don’t vote if the candidate isn’t a strong enough Christian. Many of those did not vote for the Mormon Romney.

Look at all the racial problems Obie has caused and allowed to grow. And he still has another year to agitate things.

The longer we go, the more shenanigans the dems pull with elections. If things look bad they will pull out all the stops on voter fraud.
Just think about all the Latinos and muzzies Obie is bringing in.
The muzlims will be deemed naturalized citizens by the activist courts and SCOTUS will confirm it.
Result is millions more dem voters. And you know how fanatical muzlims can be.

I have had my hopes dashed to pieces too many times.
I’m like the girl who’s had 3 or 4 guys in a row tell her *sure I’ll respect you in the morning*, she knows the chances of that happening are close to zero.

Yes, anything is possible. But I prefer to not count any eggs before they are hatched and the next two SCOTUS appointments are critical.
We make the wrong appointments there and it doesn’t matter who wins the White House.

I don’t want to be a Debbie Downer but I’m at the age where reality has bitten hard.
I hope for the best but expect the worst. My fellow citizens rarely let me down.
