The fact that he was captured and survived does not make him a hero worthy of a Silver Star, it makes him a vet that survived. He is political hero and you know it.

Back to the point at hand, flipping the subject back to its origin. Trump instead of challenging McCain's crappy politics, "defends" himself by basically saying that POWs aren't war heroes because they got caught, and "I like people who weren't captured."
That impresses you? Who gives a crap whether McCain has or deserves a Silver Star? Get over it. It's about Trump and how he "defended" himself when "attacked."
