Unfortunately, I was not. She was in very poor health in the last months of her life. Nonetheless, the music I chose included "In the Garden," which she said was her favorite hymn, "God Be With You Till We Meet Again," and Carolyn Freeman's beautiful but forgotten 1931 hymn "Back of the Clouds." The final hymn was "When We All Get to Heaven."
My sister-in -law played the piano to provide the music. She passed away a year ago from cancer.
I always think of this song as "Thank you" (see lyrics) but it is Never Can Repay...
NEVER CAN REPAY
Randy Stonehill
The things of the world may be all right But I really don't need 'em since I've seen the light People all runnin' round gettin' uptight Well I'm OK I sleep well at night
Thank you, thank you What Can I say? Thank You is not enough There's no way to repay I never can repay
Thank you...
Things of the world may be all right But I really don't need 'em since I've seen the light People all runnin' round and gettin' uptight Well I'm OK Well I'm alright
Thank you...
I said I never can repay
Even tho she couldn’t help, sounds like you did a good job for her.
