Bald face lie. Exact opposite would happen, explained as an oversight system glitch, the outlet’s stature would grow with promotions for all involved.

I think a pattern has developed in the media takedown by Trump. His lengthy stump speeches seem unscripted and heartfelt. I think that's hard to fake. But I suspect the seeming off handed "gaffes" are, in fact, carefully crafted and memorized traps.
Trump is smart and rich. He's surrounded by the best help money can buy. It's crazy to think that every potentially controversial statement he makes has not been analyzed to death, often with surprise confirmation waiting in the wings. And he makes it look easy.
