Lord knows I am sick of every stinking thing being abbreviated because people are too lazy to speak/write completely.

I mean really folks have we nothing more serious to be concerned with than the abbreviation of a three word :Location or Place Name?
when will the people of D.C. RISE UP and DEMAND that The District Of Columbia ALWAYS be referred to as such?
BAN ATTACK ABBREVIATIONS NOW!! ...O.K.?
