What if Putin now arms the Kurds against Turkey???
Obama’s continued to refuse to arm the Kurds though they have begged for “years” the US would do so........ they’re the only ones who’ve been on the ground fighting ISIS. So now what indeed if Russia steps in and arms them? Turkey will surely raise the bar if that happens.
Saying this because Turkey and Russia have long been at loggerheads over the Syrian conflict, In August of this year Putin issued an ultimatum to Erdogan/Turkey’s Ambassador ....”End all military support for ISIS”....Putin castigated Erdogan, calling him a “dictator†and threatening to sever diplomatic ties with Turkey over what Putin claims is Erdogan’s continued support of the ISIS terror organization.
Then after the downing of the Russian jet Erdogan ,nstead of immediately establishing contacts with Russia after the bomber incident, he applied to its NATO partners to discuss the issue ???.......Looks like Erdogan is aching for Nato and Russia to go to war and he’s going to make sure that happens one way or the other.
