Which is pretty amazing when you consider the exact same symbol was used by American Indians and other indigenous peoples for thousands of years. It’s a good luck symbol. I visited an old Anasazi ruin in Canyon de Chelly that has a huge swastika carved in the cliff above the dwelling. Been there since around 1200 AD.
Just as a point of interest, the swastika is also part of the Hindu or Buddhist belief in India. They still use it today to bless new car purchases at the dealers. When the customer is done buying the car, they go outside and bless the car by performing a little ceremony, which includes painting the swastika on the front of the car.
Evidently, it is symbol that represents a blessing for the removal of obstacles...
