It was false, but that's not the point.

She made a questionable statement, and what she received were public threats of bodily harm.

And her school did nothing to discipline its own students who threatened a fellow student.

This puts the lie to every bit of nonsense about "zero tolerance" policies on violence, and the "stop the bullying" rhetoric.

“It was false, but that’s not the point.” She was replying to a false tweet from her teacher. There is a sizable illegal alien population in Revere. It is not 90% but it is higher than 25%.

It is just according as to who does what. They are the protected and there are those that it is open season on. Anything that is done to or said to those that it is open season on is o.k.

Now the next question is, how does one get in either category? Easy. The protected ones agree to the position that the powers that are push and advocate. The ones that it is open season on disagree or oppose what the powers that are push or advocate.

Yes, I am sorry to see that political incorrectness receives a greater punishment than threats of physical violence. I am also sorry to see her peers would jump on such a bandwagon.
Years ago when I first heard of PC I remember joking about it. Now it is practically a crime to go against it. I fear unless there is a tremendous backlash this idea of insensitivity or offensiveness will grow equally out of control and freedom of speech will be a thing of the past.
