Time’s person of the year should be Muslim “clock boy” who is now filing a law suit against the city for 15 million dollars. /s

When I said “refugees” I was trying to remember if they had the earth as “person” of the year. They did (endangered earth). Also saw that other groups have been done too - protesters, etc. Last year it was the “ebola fighters” which was fitting. So they may not want to do another group for this year.

However, in today's PC world, having any just ONE person be named seems wrong. (It takes a village and all you know).

I remember one year where they put a piece of Mylar on the front cover and declared that the person looking at it to be ‘Man of the year’. With the popularity of selfies, they may just do it again.

Supposedly, Man of the Year is something or other about a person who has influenced our civilization.

There is no doubt in my mind that Trump has changed the landscape of the election. Topics are discussed that were not discussed, and the GOP has been turned on its head as they thought they controlled the outcome. Their guys are barely bringing in support.

Jihadi John probably would have won it, had he lived.

Wouldn't worry who gets it - being "honored" by Time has its downsides....

That said, all else considered, Trump would be my first choice.

Don’t sell Bernie short. In some ways he has changed this country forever by allowing Socialism to go mainstream.

It is no longer something quietly whispered about in coffee shops and faculty lounges. We now have a large, robust and growing constituency for it.
