MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) â After a night of violence that left five people shot near the 4th Precinct occupation, protesters are marching to Minneapolis City Hall in a show of solidarity.
Hundreds of protestors are making their way down Plymouth Avenue North Tuesday afternoon, all the way across I-94 and into downtown Minneapolis to City Hall â a total distance of about three miles.

The local NAACP is apparently claiming that the shooters were police from other jurisdictions spying on the protestors (by being in a public space).
Years ago the pacifists used to stage a demonstration at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on Hiroshima Day. Some of us decided to hold a counter-demonstration. I noticed that our demonstration was mostly old retired guys (and mostly veterans). Their demonstration was almost all college age kids, except for a few older organizers. I remarked on the difference to one of my fellow counter-protesters. His replay was, "Our kids got jobs." I think that remains true today.
