MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — After a night of violence that left five people shot near the 4th Precinct occupation, protesters are marching to Minneapolis City Hall in a show of solidarity.

Hundreds of protestors are making their way down Plymouth Avenue North Tuesday afternoon, all the way across I-94 and into downtown Minneapolis to City Hall — a total distance of about three miles.

I wonder if he’s America’s second official “white Hispanic.”

We'll see what narrative tomorrow brings.

Still trying to get used to seeing “BLM” and not having bureau of land management come to mind first.

So there are some more accounts offered - the journalese is thick, but apparently the protestors identified these men as unwanted interlopers (in a public space), surrounded them, chased them, cornered them, and then the men they chased and cornered shot their way out of the scrum and fled.

The local NAACP is apparently claiming that the shooters were police from other jurisdictions spying on the protestors (by being in a public space).

When these marches begin you have to ask yourself a question: Do these people work for a living? Where do they get their money?

Years ago the pacifists used to stage a demonstration at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on Hiroshima Day. Some of us decided to hold a counter-demonstration. I noticed that our demonstration was mostly old retired guys (and mostly veterans). Their demonstration was almost all college age kids, except for a few older organizers. I remarked on the difference to one of my fellow counter-protesters. His replay was, "Our kids got jobs." I think that remains true today.
