In September, Ukraine raised the electricity price for Crimea by 15% to 3.95 rubles per kWh. Volodymyr Demchyshyn, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine said today, on October 20.
He condemned attempts to disrupt the power supply to the peninsula. “You heard the statements of the initiative groups…for suspension of the power supply to Crimea, but it is a political decision…it is not right to disrupt the power supply,†the minister said.
Build a power plant in Kiev and shut off the gas to the tire burners. Let them burn rubber.
Here’s a thought.
If the Ukraine wanted to stop sending power to the Crimea, all they had to do was stop sending it. No demolition of expensive transmission equipment would be needed.
If Russia wanted to stop Ukraine sending power to Crimea in a false flag attack, they would not have gone into Kiev or wherever to terminate the transmission. They only needed to blow up transmission equipment and walk away.
