We get so many liberals who arrive pretending to be Conservatives that we automatically put up our defensive shields of humor.
Happy to have you. Enjoy! Over time, you’ll learn what most of the odd things above mean. They are inside-FR ways of communicating that old-timers recognize and find funny.
Sometimes, we’ve lost track of why the original humor was funny, but it is now.
Cheese. I have no idea how that started, but any mention of cheese takes you off topic into irrelevant land.
Moose. “A moose bit my sister once” is a credit that rolls at the end of a Monty Python skit.
Beeber. Someone once misspelled “beeper.”
Stuned. Misspelling of Stunned. Soon, being Stuned with a Beeber was everywhere.
Shower. Someone in the middle of some massive breaking news event said that they would be right back to the discussion after taking a shower, which many found hilarious.
Viking Kitties. These are the characters that come out and ZOT liberals who have been outed.
ZOT. This is now known as “Zorch On Target”, though that was not the original decryption, which I don’t think existed. Zotting is what happens to liberals once outed.
Etc. Ask the original poster for decryption and description of all the other weird posts above, and you’ll be a long way towards old-timer-hood. Plus your Father / Mother Eleutheria5 can help you understand what just happened.

Most Freepers are not going to have seen your explanatory post, meaning that gsm31 might continue to bump into unnecessary misunderstandings. If you help him put together his profile page, explaining who he is and why he’s here, it could make his introduction to the community here go much more smoothly.
