To: blam

Something that is missing from that map is, what happened to the Turkish jets after the interception? The track doesn’t appear to show that; it just stops at the border with Syria, and 6-7000m from the nearest point of the Russian track. Did the Turkish jets do a 180 point turn away? At that range would the Russians have time to deploy counter-measures/decoys? Latest versions of the SU24 have ECM including missile-launch detection and flares?

The blue track seem to have been scrubbed if it end as a straight line right at the border...

At very least the Turk would of logical turn towards the Russian to get a better firing position facing the Russian before firing... so you should see some turn at the end of the blue track..

but the blue track is a straight line that end at the border.. that not likely

... this looks like a hot pursuit shoot down at the very least that was across the border and that's what the Truks don't want to say
