A new opinion poll has found that just over half of Britons questioned wanted their country to leave the European Union. It is the first time such a result has been attained by the polling institute.
According to the survey by ORB International released on Tuesday, 52 percent of the 2,000 respondents said they thought Britain should leave the EU, while 48 percent were in favor of it remaining in the bloc. The poll, which was conducted last week, did not allow respondents to give an undecided response.
The result indicates a decline in the number of those wanting Britain to remain an EU member, with an ORB survey last month showing 53 percent in favor of staying. ...

Since when is a majority “small”? Is that a British thing, like “biscuit” for “cookie”?
What difference does it make for Britain to stay in the EU when they are overrun by muzzies?
The last time I was visiting in Britain, I noticed an alarming increase in Arabic on shop signs. You know, like in our Southwest, most shop signs are in English and Spanish? Many, many signs in London are in English and Arabic. The EU is overrun with Muslims, MOST peaceful, but many not. Britain and the rest of the EU countries are in for a struggle.......Lord help them and the USA, too.
Southwest? Lots of the Northeast has bilingual signs too.
Don’t confuse “peaceful” with “dormant”.
“Small” versus “overwhelming”, perhaps?
This poll recorded majorities in favor of staying in the EU before. Turning worms have turned.
I really don’t believe that ALL Muslims are radicals. I have friends who are Muslim, completely American in all respects. I cannot believe they are laying in wait to radicalize........they are happy with their lives and their futures. Successful and living the American Dream.
For the 8,234,897th time, London isn’t the UK. Or even just England.
Its simple: 51% to 49, or 53 to 47. That sort of number.
1—It would mean we and we alone have control over our border and immigration policy.
2—No, we aren’t. 96% of the UK is still NON Muslim. 92% white European.
I GET IT. But we also spent time in the west country and I was surprised to see so many women in hijabs. At least I didn’t see any full burkhas on my last trip there.
I call that a “slender majority”, or in the majority of contexts, a “majority”, unqualified. But I’m not from the UK.
