What you have posted is taken straight from Critical Race Theory. Look it up. Most of the same people who are also preaching Global Warming, radical environmentalism, microaggression, feminism, and the whole list of leftist causes, and belief systems.
I know for a fact you weren’t teaching this 30 years ago.
The Army Identification Lab in Hawaii processes the remains of GI’s who are just skeletal or fragmented remains, and they are about 99 percent accurate at determining the race of remains that sometimes consist of bone fragments or teeth. You can also look this up as well, even contact them if you wish.
Little story: Back when Critical Race Theory started, our local paper ran a very lengthy column by a Univ Professor proclaiming that races don’t exist, they’re only a “social construct” we are all the same, race is only skin deep, blah blah blah.
On the next page was a story about a black guy waiting for a kidney transplant. According to the article, Kidneys in particular are very hard to transplant between races, because the blood vessels in the kidneys of blacks are much smaller. The guy was waiting and waiting, because not enough blacks are organ donors. This was all medically explained in the article, including rejection rates, etc.
On the front page there was an article about how a human skeleton had been found in a road side ditch. A forensic artist did a sketch of a very Hispanic looking man, just based on his skull measurements. The article also gave an estimated height, weight etc. (the next day a relative came forward to identify the man, who was, indeed, Hispanic.)
Why do you think that the “choke hold” is not supposed to be applied to blacks? It’s because the choke hold when applied to whites results in a temporary loss of consciousness, and almost never results in death. However, the blood vessels in blacks are much smaller, and more easily crushed, and frequently results in death, although it was only meant to result in temporary blackout.
Anyway, Critical Race Theory believers are about as dogged as Global Warming believers. I suspect that you teach this theory because that is what you have been told to teach.
Sometimes this theory actually causes harm. Studies have shown that the gestation period for blacks is shorter than for whites. French doctors were advocating that pre-natal care be instituted about a month earlier than for whites. The Critical Race Theorists went nuts, and demanded that those doctors be expelled from their research labs, because to say that blacks should be treated any different is “racist.”
One reason (besides the fact that the actual science does not support it) that I am so skeptical of global warming is that I remember in the early 70s when I was in undergraduate school we were anticipating another ice age. Paul Erlich had just published his famous book The Population Bomb and life as we know it was supposed to be over by 1994. Obviously, that was not true!
Of course, there are differences between the races and characteristics that are more common in one race than in another race, but, biologically speaking, the differences are not great enough to cause the species to split into different species. All humans have 46 chromosomes, 22 pairs of autosomes and one pair of sex chromosomes. A female is XX and a male is XY and no matter what Chaz Bono and Kylie Jenner look like on the outside, Chaz cells still have two X chromosomes and Kylie cells still have one X and one Y.
Since you do not know me, I don't know how you can make such blanket statements about me. I suspect that we would agree about much more than we would disagree. I am about the most politically incorrect person you could possibly meet and I think that Barak Obama has been the worst thing for race relations that has ever happened to America.
