Why were the Russian turds flying in Turkey's air-space?
1. Trying to attack ISIS assets/supply lines close to the Turkey/Syria border
2. Trying to provoke a reaction from Turkey
3. Got lost or technical problem
Take your pick.

Fox reporting the Russians are saying it’s a Russian jet — but does that mean Russian built or operated, or both?

A bit early to know for sure.

Initial guess.. Got lost. Second guess.. Threatening Turkey’s caliph. Third guess.. Laughing at nato, but a trap to declare hostile retaliation.

I think we have some T-bolts over there. Maybe they were cruising for Warthogs and found Falcons instead.

The Russian government has been violating the airspace of NATO members quite a bit over the last few years. The Turkish government, unlike other NATO members, looks to be willing to back its warnings up.

“Why were the Russian turds flying in Turkey’s air-space?”

Are we sure about that? Both the Russians and Turks have reasons to lie about the incident ie, the exact flight path and any reasons for possible deviation into Turkish airspace.

The Turks want to get Assad out so they can annex part of northern Syria and have a sphere of influence in Syria. The Russians are squarely behind Assad who opposes Turkish encroachment. It would seem that The Turks would want to undermine Putin’s logistical and political position. I don’t see any advantage for Putin to have his planes intentionally violate Turkish airspace.

Who knows what NATO is up to these days.
