Islam without extremism wouldn’t be any fun at all. Without extremism the Muslims might buckle down and make something of their societies instead of having an excuse to go out with the boys all the time and kill people and steal their stuff.
I like those points you broke out. However, Islam itself if a political death cult that needs to be destroyed. There is no freedom in islam.

To wipe out extremism in Islam one has to wipe out islam.
People who write these type of articles do not understand islam, they should at least take the time to read the koran ad surahs. There is no extremism in terrorist actions....they are actually the ones living islam.

The only extremists in Islam are those who are not practicing Islam.
Doing that, of course, is anathema and warrants a death sentence, but moreover reduces Islam to the suras plagiarized from the Bible and the Torah ie the First Given Half which Mohammad specifically said were void as the last words of allah superseded the first.

It would. It's much more fun, though, to post the same canned "Islam is..." that gets dumped on nearly any thread that deals in any tangential way with Islam.

Look. Westerners can ‘get up to speed’ on the ‘Oriental’ or ‘Occidental’ mind, but suggesting that ‘extremism needs’ and ‘Islam’ in the same sentence is inherently a Western concept and so is shunned as just another Western idea.

Take away Jihad, Hegira, Taquiya, mass executions, stoning, beheading, amputation, rape, robbery, jizyah, dhimmitude, etc. and what do you have left?
Think of how hard it would be to eliminate extreme sects in Christianity and Judaism.
