1 in 5 British Muslims’ sympathy for jihadis

NEARLY one in five British Muslims has some sympathy with those who have fled the UK to fight for ISIS in Syria.

The number among young Muslims aged 18-34 is even higher at one in four.

The figures emerged in our exclusive poll conducted after the Paris atrocities led by French and Belgian jihadis returning from the war zone.

Prominent Muslims said the poll was a wake-up call.

Labour London Mayor hopeful Sadiq Khan tells The Sun today: "It is clear that Britain needs to take its head out of the sand and act to tackle extremism and radicalisation at home."

"Tackling extremism is a challenge for everyone but I believe British Muslims have a special role to play."

The survey's findings show a clear majority of the 2.7million Brits who follow Islam are moderate.

Some 38 per cent of those polled say Muslims should not have to condemn terror acts carried out by IS.

Omar Elhamdoon, of the Muslim Association of Britain, said: "When we do condemn the acts it is maybe indirectly saying we are taking responsibility, and owning the problem when it is nothing to do with us. They are not representing Islam."

This whole jihad thing is really "shining a light" on what I used to believe were *reasonable* Muslim coworkers and clients.

They have crawled out of the woodwork to explain, mollify, understand, and diminish the Paris attacks and the 80% rise in radicalized Islamist jihadist attacks in the past year.

My advice is not to trust a Muslim, any Muslim, at all.
If one of my Muslim coworkers knocked on the front door of my home, I would not answer. I simply do not trust them.

Accurate figures of Muslims in the United Sates are hard to come by but estimates run from 1.06% to 2.11% of our population. This would be between 3,350,000 to 6,660,000 Muslims already here and pretty well established (*note, I did not say "assimilated").

If "only" 10% of these Muslims were ISIS or ISIS sympathizers (a number far short of the percentages in Great Britain), that would be 335,000 to 666,000 potential Muslim killers and sympathizers already walking among us.

I suppose another 50,000 or so ISIS killers in the coming wave would make fine reinforcements for those already here - more than enough to wreak total havoc?

We are not merely foolish. We are plain crazy.
