The drawback of having any organized criminals in a neighborhood is having protection money extorted, but otherwise, the Italian Mafia (along with the Irish and Jewish mafias) generally leaves those who aren't involved in organized crime alone. In contrast, black and Latino gangs prey on everyone in a neighborhood with assaults, muggings, and rapes.

As Bad as the Italian Mafioso was/is I would rather live under THEM than ANY socialist like Obama.
1. They are Catholic ie. christian, Obama is a Muslim in Liberation Christianity (socialist) clothing.
2. They actually have National pride, vs. obama who grew up away from America and thus Obama could care less about the USA.
